As a clinician, Samantha strongly believes that client and clinician are equals. She aims to provide a relaxed and safe space for each client to feel comfortable being their most authentic self. She aims to guide each client in identifying their individual needs, strengths, and barriers, to guide each client in becoming the best version of themselves and living a healthier and happier lifestyle. Samantha believes undergoing therapy is courageous, encouraging us to challenge typical ways of thinking, and get in touch with the deepest parts of ourselves. She attended Valparaiso University and earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She’s spent the past five years gaining experience in the field, working with a wide variety of clients. Throughout her journey, Samantha has worked in adolescent residential care, adult psychiatric inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs, addictions and recovery, crisis intervention, correctional care, and telehealth. She mainly works with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, struggles with acceptance and change, eating disorders, and other presenting concerns.
