Taylor earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Valparaiso University. She works with clients of all ages and is passionate about assisting clients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation, non-suicidal self-injury, and trauma. She integrates techniques and ideas from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered, and strength-based counseling. She believes establishing a warm and respectful therapeutic relationship with clients is the basis for facilitating individual reflection and growth. Taylor’s goal is to provide a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment for clients to explore personal challenges and process their experiences while developing a sense of empowerment.
