Sophia is working toward a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and certification in Addictions Counseling from Purdue University Northwest. As an intern, she has come alongside clients of all ages addressing issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, behavioral, and relationship issues. Sophia has a special interest in social-emotional development in preschool children and human development throughout the lifespan.

Sophia uses an integrative and strengths-based approach to the therapeutic process drawing primarily from cognitive behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based (MBCT), person-centered, and solution focused brief (SFBT) therapies. Sophia’s goal is to collaboratively equip clients with the skills necessary to meet life’s challenges and facilitate the change they envision for themselves.
