Meghan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She has worked as a therapist for over 15 years in residential, outpatient, and in-home settings. Meghan has worked with children and adolescents, as well as adults. She has experience working with clients with a history of bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, behavior difficulties, and substance abuse.
Meghan believes in meeting clients where they are emotionally and working with them to address and process their past history while also helping them function effectively in the present. She is very client-centered, while incorporating various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, as well as play therapy and creative therapy techniques.
