Kayla Kroesch is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also earned her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Non-Profit and Non-Government Organizational Studies from Northern Illinois. Kayla is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is currently working toward licensure. She has a wide range of experience working with individuals with disabilities seeking additional support, individuals pursuing career counseling to achieve career-based goals, and those in need of mental health support services.

Kayla integrates techniques and approaches primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She enjoys utilizing goal-oriented and strengths-based approaches while maintaining a focus on mindfulness.

Kayla believes that everyone’s feelings are valid and unique to each person. She offers a supportive, safe space for individuals to discuss difficult topics and express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions freely. She looks forward to working with you on your journey.
