Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary English Education

Erin is a graduate of Indiana University, where she earned her Master of Science in Education with a focus on Mental Health Counseling, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). Prior to becoming a mental health counselor, she taught middle and high school and led the student success office at Indiana University South Bend. Erin understands the emotional and learning needs of teenagers and young adults, and her top goal is to create a safe, warm, and judgment-free space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals. In therapy, you decide where we will focus our energy as we use a holistic approach to treatment.

Erin knows that a strong relationship between client and counselor is the most important part of working together to facilitate reflection and positive change. You know yourself better than anyone, so Erin’s approach is to assist you in tapping into your own knowledge and helping you to better care for yourself –  mind, body, and spirit. Erin integrates various evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Existential, Psychoeducation, and Person-Centered therapies in her practice.
