Elishia has worked for 7 years in a community mental health center setting with individuals, children, and families experiencing a range of trials. Some of these adversities have included abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, neglect, infidelity, substance use, spirituality, parenting skills and managing stress.

Therapy is as unique as the individual. Therefore, Elishia uses a faith-based outlook along with a strengths-based theory, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. All of which are encompassed by person-centered treatment interventions.

Elishia believes the relationship dynamic between the client and the therapist is the essential piece for a successful treatment outcome. Trust, open communication and transparency play a large role in long termchange. That environment is then created around individual needs in hopes to provide a place of healing.
