Cherie is a graduate of Purdue University Northwest where she

received her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health

Counseling. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed

Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) in Indiana. Cherie uses an

integrative approach of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered

Therapy, and Mindfulness in her clinical work. She believes her role as

a counselor is to be a collaborative partner and work with the client to

facilitate change within themselves.

 

Cherie’s goal is to create a safe space for clients to express their

thoughts and feelings surrounding topics that can be very difficult to

talk about. She has clinical experience with anxiety disorders,

depressive disorders, grief, and PTSD.
