Brianna Henning is a graduate of Indiana University, where she received both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work (MSW). She views therapy as a safe space to work through both past and present stressors. Her goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients on their therapeutic journey. Brianna also aims to equip clients with the tools needed to navigate their presenting concerns in a positive and healthy way. She views the client as the “master” of their own healing, while she is simply a helping hand along the way.
Brianna’s clinical interests include working with children, teenagers, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, self-esteem issues, and grief. Her theoretical orientation includes a client-centered approach, while also drawing on therapeutic interventions from a strengths-based perspective, mindfulness techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
