Alisha Hughes an intern through Indiana Wesleyan University. She will graduate in August 2022 with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She counsels adults as well as children/adolescents, using a variety of evidence-based counseling techniques including person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. Alisha Hughes has experience working with adults and adolescents in the middle school, high school, church, and in outpatient settings. Alisha’s goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable to explore their own personal challenges, value systems, relationships, and experiences while developing a sense of empowerment.
