Alisha Hughes graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is an Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA). Alisha is the Christian Counseling Coordinator at Pillars of Wellness and specializes in incorporating faith into the therapeutic experience if the client desires.

She counsels adults and adolescents with a collaborative, integrative, and strengths-based approach, using a variety of evidence-based counseling techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Alisha has experience working with adults and adolescents in middle school, high school, church, and in outpatient settings. Alisha’s goal is to support and encourage clients by creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable to explore their own personal challenges, value systems, relationships, and experiences while gaining the skills to live a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life.
