Erin Canada has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and has a passion for helping others.
Erin has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, life transitions and stressors, relationship issues, and grief and loss. She gravitates toward utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, with an emphasis on identifying strengths and incorporating mindfulness techniques. Erin believes it is important to understand how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. Once this awareness is developed, small changes can begin to take place.
Erin’s goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship while fostering a safe environment that encourages self-awareness and growth. She is empathetic, compassionate, and brings a wide range of life experiences and knowledge to support others in their time of need. Erin is also nonjudgmental and a great listener.
