Ms. Qualls is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Walden University for Counselor Education and Supervision, and a previous graduate of Purdue University Northwest for a Master of Science in Education for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Qualls is licensed as a counseling professional in Indiana and Illinois. Ms. Qualls has an extensive background in working with mandated clients in the fields of corrections and within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Ms. Qualls has experience working with all ages, families, and couples. Other areas of specialization include anxiety management, phase of life events, communication and anger management skills, and coping with traumatic events and environments.

With a strong person-centered foundation, Ms. Qualls’ counseling approach incorporates direct strengths-based, solution-focused, and meaning making components to foster a supportive, compassionate, goal-oriented therapeutic relationship. Ms. Qualls aims to meet the client where they are developmentally and experientially to promote reasonable and practical therapeutic outcomes. Ultimately, Ms. Qualls desires to help clients gain the confidence to help themselves and effectively manage life’s inevitable challenges.
