Sarah Herbert is an intern at Pillars of Wellness. Sarah received her undergraduate degree at Indiana University Bloomington, where she got a Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Criminal Justice. Sarah currently attends Valparaiso University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program. She is currently in her second year of the CMHC program. Her areas of interest include adolescents, young adults, and couples. She has had prior experience working with adolescents and the LGBTQ+ community. Sarah’s hope is to be able to provide a safe and therapeutic environment where clients are encouraged to grow towards reaching their therapeutic goals. She believes that the client’s mental well-being is of the utmost importance. Sarah takes a strengths-based and cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. She is available for in-person sessions.
