Ms. Vandermolen is a graduate of Valparaiso University with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her undergrad degree at Valparaiso University, majoring in Psychology and Sociology: Criminology.  Ms. Vandermolen has worked with children and teens in residential settings, incarcerated men and women, LGBTQ+ specific outpatient therapy for children, teens and adults and adults in residential settings for substance use disorders.

Ms. Vandermolen integrates techniques and approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Strength-Based therapy. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, psychotic disorders, life transitions, personality disorders and LGBTQ+ issues. She promotes a supportive environment to help her clients achieve personal growth
