Tyler is a second-year master’s student and therapist intern. He is currently enrolled in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Purdue University Northwest. Trained as a systems therapist, he specializes in working with couples, families, individuals, and friends who are experiencing a variety of relational and emotional challenges. His therapeutic approach emphasizes mindfulness and personal strengths through the utilization ofNarrative and Experiential therapies which he practices through an anti-racist, culturally attuned, LGBTQIA+ affirming, Feminist, trauma-informed lens. Tyler’s goal is to establish an environment in which clients feel safeand comfortable embarking on an exploration of the challenges they are experiencing and collaborating tocreate lasting change in their lives.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys finding new ways to avoid folding the laundry, reminding Netflix that yes, he is still watching, daydreaming about loading up the car for a road trip, and jogging (wheezing, more accurately) around his neighborhood where he lives with his wife and their 2 cats.
